Festival Passes

Simplify, and get more from your Frameline36 experience with a Gold Card or Castro Pass. With these passes you won't have to wait in box office lines or keep track of individual tickets. Daytime moviegoers will want to nab a Weekday Matinee Pass!

A generous allotment of seats at every screening are reserved for passholders. While a pass (with the exception of Platinum) does not guarantee seating, passholders are allowed priority entry up to 20 minutes before showtime or until the passholder seat allotment has been reached.

Note: Frameline36 passes will be mailed in May 2012.
 

Platinum Cards

Platinum Cards are presented in appreciation of Frameline members at the Visionary Director ($5,000) level. Platinum Cards provide priority admission to all Frameline36 screenings and reserved seating for all screenings at the Castro Theatre, including Opening and Closing Nights.

Gold Cards 

Gold Cards are presented in appreciation of Frameline members at the Benefactor ($725) and Visionary ($1,500-$2,500) levels. Gold Cards provide priority admission to all Frameline36 screenings! Reminder: Gold Cards serve as your ticket to Opening and Closing Night Films & Parties.

Castro Passes

Castro Passes, good for admission to all Castro Theatre screenings, excluding Opening Night and Closing Night are available to members-only until June 1 (available to the general public, starting June 1, 2012).

Weekday Matinee Passes

Weekday Matinee Passes, good for admission to all weekday daytime screenings at the Castro Theatre, starting no later than 5pm, are available for a steal. With more than a dozen programs to see, you'll save plenty purchasing a pass instead of individual tickets!

NOTE TO ALL PASS HOLDERS: Arrive early! Seating is guaranteed only up to twenty minutes before the published showtime, or until pass holder allotment has been reached. Twenty minutes after the program has commenced, no one will be admitted into the theatre.

Service fees are non-refundable. The service fee for online, fax, or mail orders is $2.00 per ticket or pass, up to a maximum fee of $8.00 per order. Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.
