Each film in this collection of eight outstanding gay shorts is a story about youth, some confronting, some manifesting evil.
Something is up with Taylor, and his little sister knows it in Lloyd Neck. When a garage sale turns violent, a mother is forced to come to terms with her teenage son’s sexuality in Dolls. The Cousin is the story of Mark, a sheltered, sensitive teenager who reunites with Luis, his tough, older cousin. Luis decides to take his cousin for a night out on the town, but before the night is over, Mark’s sheltered world is cracked wide open. A widowed professor finds new hope in an unlikely connection with a young school janitor in Alonso’s Deadline. In Baggage, Martin finds himself pursued by a mysterious suitcase, and Mars reveals the passion, disappointment and discrimination of young love. Souljah is the story of a beautiful 17-year-old African schoolboy with a penchant for glittery eye make-up. The drug-dealing teens on his South London council estate don’t approve, but what they don’t know is that he is a former child soldier who knows more about combat than they ever will. A highly intelligent but troubled Black gay teen sets out to seduce an HIV-positive man into giving him the virus in The Young and Evil.
