The beautifully complicated Stitches finds a couple at the hospital on the evening after their child is born. The Devotion Project: Listen from the Heart, traces the relationship of two Oakland women, from their initial meeting and love affair, through the birth of their child, a boy with a heart condition who enriches their lives in ways they could never have imagined. When her teenage daughter is accepted to university one mother is forced to confront the state of her relationship and her life in Reprise. Uncle Nick attends his baby nephew's Dol, a traditional Korean first birthday party, and finds himself yearning for a life just out of reach.
