Documentary

Documentary films have always played an important role in chronicling the our community and the LGBT rights movement, not to mention educating everyone else about who we are and why we are different (or not) from the rest of the world. This year's slate of documentary films is as diverse and entertaining as ever. From the worlds of roller derby and bear culture to lesbian comic Kate Clinton, the story of a gay Marine in Iraq and the tragic murder of a transgender teenager named Gwen, these moving and eye-opening films can teach the world, and us, a thing or two.
