Centerpieces

Two outstanding films were fighting it out for Centerpiece status this Festival, so we figured, why not both? Patrik, Age 1.5 is a Swedish narrative about the tug-of-war that occurs when the new gays on the block accidentally adopt a homophobic 15-year-old. Prodigal Sons melds the dysfunctional family doc and the transdoc into an engrossing tale of “a brotherly rivalry between a man, a woman … and Orson Welles.”
